long days...

so, the capitoline museum (specifically palazzo dei conservatori) has a really great photography exhibit from august sander... founder of 'modern' portrait photography... pretty groovy stuff if you ask me...

other than that, brad and i slept until about 3 this afternoon after litterally walking our asses off for the past 4 days... put it this way, yesterday: so we leave our apartment at 81 via in caterina, right around the corner from palazzo farnese(and i guess this will only be significant for those of you who have been to rome, or who can find a detailed map...) we walk to sait peter's, walk all over the inside of saint peter's, go to the vatican museum, see everything but the egyptian galleries, walk clear across town to the campidoglio walk around the palazzo dei conservatori (at four stories of gallery space, it's no trifle, i assure you...) and then walk clear across town back to our apartment... needless to say, it was a pretty exhausting day...

now, we're just waiting to hear from everyone from our class that has arrived in rome... so i guess there will be more to come...
