forum stank...

so, for the past couple of days, i've been traipsing around the roman and imperial fora sketching and photographing beautiful things... my only mistake was wearing flip-flops... yeah, i know, i'm an idiot [and, in the words of chris: "i should wear 'real' shoes..."], so i came home with some pretty funky forum 'stank' on my feet two days in a row... you'd think that maybe i'd learn my lesson the first time, but nope, not me - i guess i just must be the brightest bulb on the tree, huh? anyway...

at the moment, i am faced with the daunting task of analyzing the area of the central archeological park in rome... it's really hard to even get started because the task is so enormous... but c'est la vie and all will be well - i think that i've found the direction that i want to start with and i guess that i'll just let things evolve from there. i'm really excited and nervous about my project for this semester, and i'm extremely anxious to see what i come up with... speaking of the things that i'll come up with: i've made a resolution for this semester and all of the ones that follow... i will finish everything and i will no longer hold myself back... yeah. it might sound stupid, but it's been a really important step for me... as i really seem to enjoy holding myself back... i guess we'll see where i go from here.

i'm off to [hopefully] make some beautiful drawings... more to come in a few days... i'm taking my pictures to be developed, so i should be able to have them back by thursday and scanned/posted by saturday [i would say friday, but we get to go to pompei on friday all day... so, just to be safe, i'm going to go ahead and say saturday for the posting of pictures...]. i hope that all is well with everyone and that you find some time today to cause some trouble of somesort.... catch you kiddies later!
